REFEREE “B” CLASS and REFEREE “A” CLASS
The W.A.S.C.O. Referees are regularly train through the specific Referees’ Courses organized by W.A.S.C.O. World Headquarters and with the help of W.A.S.C.O. National affiliated associations.
There are TWO Referee specializations:
“B” Class Referee and “A” Class Referee.
The Referees “B” Class: are the National Referees at the discretion of National association for work on official tournaments. This work of the referees can be remunerated. The food and the lodging must be free of charge for them in any case.
The Referees “A” Class: are the International Referees. The International W.A.S.C.O. Referee “A” Class can become exclusively W.A.S.C.O. Referee “B” Class, if:
1. Has not less than 2 years experience in the W.A.S.C.O. National competitions or umpired not less than 7 (seven) W.A.S.C.O. National competitions.
2. Receives no more than 1 demerit note for his work from the National Referee Committee during the last 2 years.
3. Participate in W.A.S.C.O. Referee International Courses and successfully pass the examination.
4. Have successful practice of refereeing during W.A.S.C.O. International Championships.
